The Wear's have been in the commercial construction business in Fort Smith and the surrounding area since 1955 with their father Carl Wear and with the opening of Wear Construction Management in 1979. We have a long-standing history of dedication to quality and dependable performance in the construction industry. Our long-standing expertise and experience in executing quality construction projects is second to none.
Demonstrated Project Capabilities
We have completed a variety of projects ranging from churches, school districts, factories, hospitals, and commercial real estate renovations to name a few. We have done each of the above projects while keeping their facilities occupied and fully operational. Working hospitals and schools on time critical projects with patients, students, and employees in the area is what we do best and makes all other projects seem easy.
About Us
Alan Wear has been the Chief Operation Officer of Wear Construction Management for over thirty years and has over forty-five years of experience in all phases of construction. Alan started working for his father's company in the field and end up moving back to Fort Smith to help his brother by running Wear Construction Management.
Jon Nipp started working at Wear Construction Management as a laborer, became a skilled carpenter, supervised multiple projects, and is now an estimator and project manager with over twenty five years of experience.
Phillip Wear worked for his father's company growing up and joined the Army as a helicopter pilot and a flight instructor during the Vietnam War. He transitioned to the Air National Guard and was an F-100, F-4, and F-16 pilot and flight instructor. He retired from the military in 1999 with over 34 years. During his time in the Air National Guard, Phillip started Wear Construction Management and continues as President and assists with operations.
Lee Ann Vicary has worked at Wear Construction Management for 22 years after serving 13 years in the Air National Guard. Lee Ann works as the office manager, expediter, bookkeeper and just about anything else that needs done in the office.
